FAQs
Is a wedding videographer worth it?
1
For many couples, yes. Photography captures individual moments, while video preserves the movement, voices, emotion, vows, speeches, and atmosphere of the day. A wedding film gives you the chance to relive moments you may have missed and hear the voices of the people who were there long after the wedding is over.
When should I book a wedding videographer?
2
Ideally, you should book your wedding videographer 9β18 months before your wedding, especially if your date falls during peak wedding season. Popular dates can fill quickly, so once you have your venue and date confirmed, it is a good idea to start reaching out to videographers.
What is included in a wedding videography package?
3
We offer both set and customized packages but, generally speaking, wedding videography commonly includes multiple cameras, professional audio recording, and an edited highlight film. Depending on the package, you may also receive full ceremony coverage, speeches, drone footage, additional filmmakers, social-media teasers, or longer documentary-style edits.
How do I choose the right wedding videographer?
4
Start by watching several complete wedding filmsβnot just short social-media clips. Look for a filming and editing style that matches how you want your wedding to feel when you watch it years from now. You should also consider experience, audio quality, communication, reviews, package details, turnaround time, and whether you feel comfortable having that person with you throughout your wedding day.
How much does a wedding videographer cost?
5
As of 2026, our packages range from $2500-5000+ and increase yearly as we improve our systems, processes, deliverables, and team. Pricing can vary considerably depending on experience, hours of coverage, number of videographers, film length, travel, and additional deliverables. Professional wedding videography can range from a few thousand dollars to significantly more for premium or multi-day coverage. Rather than comparing price alone, compare exactly what is included and the quality of the finished films.
How long does it take to receive my wedding film(s)?
6
Turnaround times vary by videographer and season. A professionally edited wedding film can take anywhere from 4 months to a full year or more because of the time involved in organizing footage, syncing audio, selecting music, color grading, sound design, and editing the story. Your videographer should give you a clear estimated delivery timeframe before you book. Our turnaround time is between 1-4 months depending on deliverables.
Do wedding videographers provide raw footage?
7
Some do and some do not. Raw footage can include hours of unedited camera files, duplicate angles, test shots, and footage without color correction or finished audio. Because it is very different from the final film, many videographers either do not provide it or offer it as an additional purchase. If raw footage is important to you, ask before booking.
We do not provide raw (straight from the camera; unedited) footage. However, we do provide any parts of the day you want in an edit of your choosing. This captures the βrawβ moments and emotions in a way that is fun and attractive to watch.
What should our wedding-day timeline look like for the best video?
8
The best timeline gives your photo and video team enough time to capture important moments without constantly rushing from one event to the next. Allow time for getting ready, details, portraits, the ceremony, sunset footage, speeches, and reception events. Whenever possible, build small buffers into the schedule in case something runs late. Your videographer and photographer can help you review the timeline before the wedding.
How far do wedding videographers travel?
9
Many wedding videographers travel well beyond their home city and may cover weddings throughout their state, neighboring states, or nationwide. Travel fees may apply depending on mileage, lodging, flights, or the amount of time required. If you are planning a destination wedding, ask early so travel arrangements can be included in your proposal.
We travel nationally and will be begin offering international options in 2027.
